Most mornings are a rush, right from waking up and getting dressed, getting caught in traffic, or missing the bus, and making sure we reach work on time-all this can get very exhausting. But following or choosing a few morning rituals, which are convenient and suite our needs, help us start the day in peace. And help us feel good in the midst of daily hustle bustle.

Here are a few simple rituals to help us relax:

Waking up-listening to the birds: This is a good way to wake up the sweet chirping of the birds is often very relaxing and can leave us feeling good.

Go for a morning walk or a jog: An early morning walk, in the park or near a pond, the cool breeze blowing enjoying the early morning sunrise, often is very comforting. Almost everyone enjoys a good walk or a good jog near a lake or a pond, which keeps us refreshed. Some people who live near the beach enjoy waking at the beach, this too can be very relaxing.

Visiting a park nearby: Taking some time and visiting a park nearby, enjoying nature, looking at the birds and the flowers bloom. The early morning fresh air helps us relax and stay calm.

Enjoying a good healthy breakfast: Coming up with a good healthy breakfast, including fresh fruits or milk and enjoying it, with the family, is a good way of spending a few minutes with the children, talking with them gives us an opportunity to understand their needs.

Spend some time in the balcony: I enjoy drinking a good glass of water first thing in the mornings in my balcony, facing the lake, this often helps me relax.  Watching the pigeons, looking for food helps me be thankful for all that we have received.

Working at the to do list: Taking sometime and making to do list, looking at the days schedule, spending sometime, revisiting the goals, keep us organized.

Relaxing with a good cup of green tea: Spending some time in the mornings, planning the day, enjoying a good cup of green tea is a good way to relax in the mornings.

Finding some ‘Me Time’: Spending some time and enjoying the silence, getting some ‘ME TIME’, which is very essential, this often helps us focus and work at meeting out objectives.

Meditation: Spending some time meditating or uttering a few mantras, helps us relax and gives us some time to revisit our goals.

Watering the Plants: I enjoy watering the plants, and spending some time, taking care of the kitchen garden, gardening can be relaxing.

Caring for the pet: Our pet dog knows, I will spend at least some time every morning, petting it or taking it for a walk.

Few morning rituals help us relax, and help us clear our minds.
